Behind The Photos
Capturing 'The Wild West' became more than just photographing a stunning landscape—it was about reconnecting with treasured memories of afternoons spent watching classic westerns with my Grandad. Initially believing the iconic barns were hidden deep in the San Juan Mountains, I discovered them surprisingly close, right off a paved road. Years later, returning under extraordinary conditions, I meticulously prepared my shot, utilizing my Lumix S1R’s high-resolution mode. This seemingly effortless photograph ultimately became one of my most cherished pieces, a powerful reminder of personal history and emotional connections.

As a fine art nature photographer, I've been on a lifelong journey of capturing the breathtaking beauty of our natural world. The awe-inspiring landscapes, the intricate details of wildlife, and the ever-changing colors of the seasons have been my constant muse. And now, with the holiday season upon us, I'm reminded of the power of art in our lives, not only for personal enjoyment but also as a meaningful and timeless gift.
