About This Image

Location: Redwoods National Park

This was the second time my wife and I visited this park. The first was near the beginning of my journey into nature photography—a time when I was still learning how to see through the lens. That initial walk through this trail stuck with me, not just for its beauty, but for something my wife said.

She looked around at the towering trees, lush ferns, and moss-draped branches and whispered, “This is where the fairies would live, if they were real.”

Years later, we returned—this time on an impromptu road trip to celebrate our anniversary. It wasn’t planned, but sometimes the best adventures aren’t. As we drove up the coast, we found ourselves drawn back to this trail. The forecast wasn’t promising, and sure enough, we were met with a steady downpour as soon as we arrived.

Still, we ventured in.

There’s something magical about a forest in the rain. The colors deepen, the light softens, and every leaf glistens like it’s been polished by nature itself. As we reached this small wooden bridge, the rain slowed to a drizzle, then briefly stopped. A pocket of stillness.

I set up quickly, the scene unfolding just as I remembered it—only better.

This image, Enchanted Passage, feels like a return. To where it all started. To something childlike and wonder-filled. To a place where fairies might just exist, after all.

Limited Edition vs Open Edition

Our Limited Edition prints are produced using a unique, high-resolution printing process that captures maximum detail, depth, and color accuracy—far superior to traditional methods used for open edition prints. Each piece is hand-signed and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, ensuring its rarity and value.

Open Edition prints, while still high-quality, do not have a set production limit and are printed using traditional methods. They are a great way to enjoy Riley Clark’s work at a more accessible price, but they do not carry the same exclusivity or premium detail as the museum-quality Limited Editions.

Tips for Choosing the Right Size Art

🖼 Bigger is (usually) better

If you’re hanging above a sofa, bed, or fireplace, aim for a print that’s around 60–75% of the furniture’s width. It’ll feel more balanced and make a stronger statement.

📏 Measure twice, decorate once

Tape out dimensions on your wall using painter’s tape to visualize different sizes. This quick step can save a lot of guesswork.

📲 Use the AR Preview Tool

See exactly how each piece will look on your wall—framed, finished, and true to scale. It’s like a fitting room for your art.

🖤 Go with your gut

Some rooms call for subtle, others for bold. Trust your instinct and let your space guide you.
